Features for free accounts

Anyone can create a free NeoOffice Mobile account. Free accounts can upload and view documents but they are limited to only 100 megabytes of storage and their documents expire after 30 days. This allows users to try out NeoOffice Mobile and use it for temporary storage.

Extra features for NeoOffice donors

NeoOffice donors, in contrast, have access to the complete set of features. The NeoOffice project is funded entirely by payments from our users. Since over half of our payments come from a small percentage of our users, we provide the following NeoOffice Mobile extra features as a thank you to our most generous users.

NeoOffice donors that have paid US$10 (or €7 or £6 or CA$10 or AU$10 or ¥834) or more within the last year get the following features:

• Previous versions of each document can be viewed - Users that have paid US$10 or more in the last year can view 10 versions of each document: the latest uploaded version and the 9 previous versions that were uploaded before the latest uploaded version. Users that have paid US$25 or more in the last year can view 25 versions. In essence, this feature preserves a backup copy whenever a user overwrites an existing NeoOffice Mobile document.
• Recently expired documents are automatically restored - With this feature, users with free accounts or users who have not paid recently can restore any documents that have expired within the last year simply by making a NeoOffice payment of US$10 or more.
• Document expiration dates are automatically extended based on amount paid - After making a payment of US$10 or more, the expiration date for any restored or new documents is automatically extended. When users pay US$10 or more, the expiration is extended to 1 year after the date of the payment. With this feature, users that periodically pay can ensure that their documents never expire.
• Significantly higher storage limit - Users that have paid US$10 or more in the last year can store up to 1 gigabyte of documents in their NeoOffice Mobile account. Users that have paid US$25 or more in the last year can store up to 2.5 gigabytes of documents. Users that have paid US$100 or more in the last year can store up to 10 gigabytes of documents.
